The challenge

Landsbankinn faced several challenges with their existing on-premise CRM system. The system did not meet modern standards and led to inefficiencies. In addition, the bank was limited in its ability to take advantage of new features and integrations that came with the Dynamics 365 license.

Ensuring reliability and improving the customer experience required a quick and smooth transition to a cloud-based solution that could support business-critical processes in customer service, marketing, and case management.

The solution

As a Microsoft FastTrack partner, Context& utilized the FastTrack On-Premise to Online tool, which, after a lengthy project process, made it possible to migrate Landsbankinn's entire CRM platform to the cloud within a weekend. The solution included:

  • Setting up new development and operating environments in the cloud.

  • Converting and updating existing features and integrations to ensure cloud compatibility.

  • Training and upskilling Landsbankinn's internal developers to take ownership of the new platform.

The transition to Dynamics 365 was carefully tested and optimized through a series of dry runs and close collaboration between the Landsbankinn and Context& teams.

Over 600 users were seamlessly migrated to the new solution, which now offers improved security, faster access to data, and easy integration with other Microsoft services, such as Microsoft Teams.
