xPM Customer Community: Customers explored how AI is reshaping PMOs and portfolio management

Introduction

How do organizations move from AI experimentation to practical value in portfolio management? 

That question brought together 23 participants from 13 organizations when xPM Customer Community recently gathered customers in Søborg for a full day focused on AI, Copilot, and the future of PMOs. 

There were participants from organizations across pharma, finance, energy, retail, transport and education. This cross-industry mix is a key strength of the Customer Community format, creating dialogue across portfolio and project management in very different contexts. 

xPM Customer Community is a recurring forum for Projectum xPM customers. Here, the focus is knowledge sharing, peer networking, and practical discussions on how organizations convert AI capabilities into operational portfolio management and business value. 

From AI interest to applied use cases

One of the highest-rated sessions of the day was a live scenario simulation presented by Peter Kestenholz, Chief of Innovation. The participants highlighted the session for its hands-on approach and clear demonstration of how AI can be applied directly in portfolio management scenarios. 

The day had a varied program:  

  • How AI is changing xPM product development 

  • Practical Copilot use cases for PMOs 

  • AI-driven scenario simulation and vibe-coding 

  • Projectum xPM Product Roadmap 2026–2027 

  • Peer-to-peer discussions and customer networking
