At Clever, the challenge was to create clarity. Developers needed structure around what AI means for their role, how working methods should evolve, and how to balance continuous learning with ongoing product delivery.
Without alignment, AI risks becoming fragmented experimentation driven by individuals rather than shared organizational capability. Clever needed a structured approach that could keep pace with technological change while maintaining focus and quality.

The solution
Context& and Clever established a collaborative AI development program based on a Stanford-inspired Modern Software Development framework.
Six selected modules formed the starting point, not the end state. Context& adapted these to Clever’s context and delivered half-day sessions focused on dialogue, instruction, and practical reflection.
The emphasis was on building understanding and working methods, not simply introducing tools. Developers explored how their role evolves from writing all code manually to defining structure, validating output, and managing AI agents effectively.
Clever did not implement a training program. They established an ongoing AI capability model. Together with Context&, they built an ongoing transformation model - where capability development happens through real projects, not alongside them.
The initiative is continuously adjusted to reflect the rapid development of AI technologies and to ensure lasting organizational impact.
