As part of their services, DM handles tens of thousands of member inquiries every year. DM looked for possibilities in increased digitalization to deliver faster and more accurate responses.

In close collaboration with DM, Context& developed and implemented an AI agent for legal contract review.
The AI agent receives and reads the member’s contract, performs the necessary legal checks, classifies and evaluates the content according to the relevant laws before drafting an initial advisory message. This draft is then uploaded directly to their CRM system where the legal advisor can review and adapt the draft before sending it to the member.
In this way, the AI Agent functions as an integrated solution where the legal advisor can stay in their work context. This human in the loop approach has improved both speed and quality of the responses.
DM (formerly known as Dansk Magisterforening) is a Danish academic trade union with more than 80.000 members across the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences, representing bachelors, masters, and students to ensure fair working conditions, better pay and benefits, and foster professional communities and learning.
The contract review and reply process has been reduced by more than 50% measured in time consumption per contract review.
At the same time, the quality of responses has gone up. The AI agent delivers faster responses and ensures consistent quality and tone.
The legal advisors now feel they have a virtual colleague, who supports them and the AI-generated drafts have also made communication more aligned with members’ terminology, strengthening dialogue, and reducing the gap between experts and members.
The AI Agent has proved to be a success and paved the way for similar solutions for other use cases in DM.
