The challenge
European Energy develops wind and solar energy projects and has recently started working with Power-to-X, which is the conversion of excess electricity into liquid fuels. This development means that the company needs better project and portfolio management.
European Energy needed a new project management and portfolio solution and a new tool for document and contract management. European Energy is experiencing strong growth, both in terms of the size of projects, the number of projects, and especially the geographical spread of energy parks. They were looking for a portfolio and project management tool. Thus, it was strategic for European Energy to have an IT solution where everything was centralized.
