The technical implementation of the new system was built on Microsoft Power Platform and designed to support TerraWise’s actual workflows.
Automated and intelligent workflows were developed in Power Automate based on the company’s own specifications and requirements.
Using Power Apps, user‑friendly applications were created that leverage data from SharePoint and ensure a simple and efficient user experience.
TerraWise needed a new system to manage its many different projects and internal processes. Employees across six business units had widely varying needs for producing, accessing, storing, and sharing project information, and existing standard systems did not meet the organisation’s overall requirements. A value chain analysis was conducted to identify how a new system could support existing workflows through automation without changing well‑established processes. Ease of use was critical, as the solution also needed to work for employees with very limited IT experience

TerraWise and Context& collaborated to specify and build a tailored system using Microsoft Power Platform. A detailed value chain analysis clarified organisational needs. The system emphasised ease of use, automation, and device independence, with technical details intentionally hidden from users. Power Automate was used to implement automated workflows, while PowerApps delivered custom applications using SharePoint data. The user interface ran in Microsoft Teams, and project workspaces were automatically provisioned. Training was provided personally rather than through mass sessions, ensuring users across six teams could adopt the system effectively. Development proceeded iteratively, with continuous communication between TerraWise and Context& to refine each component.
